Backflow Testing
What is Backflow Testing? The water authority recommends, and in some areas requires, that we test your backflow prevention device annually.
Why is this recommended or required? A backflow device ensures that foreign substances such as fertilizer, lawn chemicals, and other hazardous materials do not flow backwards. In the event of a backflow, these hazardous materials flow backwards into the water supply and/or home plumbing. Hence, A Backflow Test ensures that the device is working properly.
